How To Play Guitar For Dummies Is A Metaphor And By No Means Insinuating You Are Dumb Because It Is All In Fun

How To Play Guitar for dummies? This is a metaphor used by the publishers of the, “how to Dummy” serious of books, you will find at any book store. It is quite appealing to us the reader because when we do not understand something or find it difficult to learn, we classify ourselves as dummies. Hope fully this is taken in a humorous way. Really if you are setting out to learn something new, can you judge yourself as a dummy or should you not be giving yourself a pat on the back for wanting to learn How To Play The Guitar.

Now you are being too harsh on yourself.  Absolutely, when you pick up the guitar for the first time and start to strum out a tune.  It probably won’t sound all that great.  So what do you do, give up, put the guitar down, listen to your friends tell you it’s too hard to learn, feel that you’re all thumbs etc…  Yes those are some of the reasons you can give up, or you can keep going like the rest of us have.  At least at the beginning start off with 15 minutes a day seven days a week.  This way you won’t get discouraged.  Because you know we can get discouraged if you go at it to hard. You are Learning To Play Guitar to have fun and learn a new instrument.  It should not be a chore, it should be an adventure in two a new area of music.

So get over the fact that you’re going to screw up and make mistakes.  Really, if you’re not making mistakes then how can you be learning.  It’s going to be awkward at the beginning, like anything you when you go to learn something.  But eventually you’ll be strumming away and impressing your peers.  How to play guitar for dummies, well you’ve come to the right place as you can learn here. The thing to keep in mind is to have fun and not take it seriously. You will find your learning curve will go up, so pick up that guitar and start learning.
